Huh, almost a year since last update !
I have been doing a little Gamecube hacking lately (when not busy with PS2).  For those interested take a look at the limited stuff I managed to find out at this point: gcinfo : - Hopefully others will contribute to it aswell!



2002-06-01 Mini compo & Graphics library

Some nice stuff going on in the ps2 scene these days.

If you haven't noticed yet : the major breakthrough in PS2 development has just been achieved - NapLink, a program to transfer files from PS2 <-> PC via USB, has been released, checkout the NapLink site http://www.cerc.utexas.edu/~andrewk/ps2/naplink. It should be up on the Napalm server very sooon !



2001-11-03 Funslower NTSC fixed

Just uploaded the compiled version of the released Funslower source, as it now displays properly on NTSC systems. It's in the files section.

2001-10-28 IRX Tool, DMA docs & 3 Stars II

Today I have a little news for you :
IRXtool by Herben, a real nice tool for those of you who want to save some typing time and especially those who use IDA for their reversement. -files section!
DMAdocs got another update by Big Boss(all collected into one zip now). -files section!
3stars-II, another lame one-screen demo by me... But check it out, its the first demo on PS2 having sound (thanks to ADK of Napalm).  -files section!

Today totally r0x, a demogroup named SoopaDoopa sent me their awesome PS2 demo (Funslower) released at the TRSAC demo party.. It's setting new standards for PS2, click here to download it !

Uses only the EE-core + COP2 (VU0) to output in excess of 3.2 Million Triangles / Second.

2001-07-12 C graphics library & texture mapping sample

So? -Today I decided to release a library I wrote for use with the gnu gcc compiler, available from ps2dev.sourceforge.com. It includes a little sample showing how to texture two poly's ;)  Well PS2 programming should now no longer be limited to assembler coders (like myself). Of course the library lacks lots of functions, but I hope to add them down the line, sometime! -grab it from the files section!

2001-04-17 ASM 5900 v1.3b Macro support

Pheew... wiRe is working hard these days. Now ASM5900 ver. 1.3b. is released, and guess what ? It has MACRO support.
What we have now is a very powerful tool for PS2 development, look at the new printf sample I made and check out how to use the macro feature.. I added some macro's just for fun, like locate x,y - dumpreg - print @text etc....



2001-04-15 ASM 5900 v1.2b

Again wiRe adds another update to his awesome assembler ASM5900, now its ver. 1.2b. Moreover the printf source has been modified to fit (/ benefit of) the ASM5900 v1.2b. Some links were added too.

 -Furthermore I made a little "printf" sample for wiRe's assembler, which you can download from the source section.

Good news today!  wiRe send me the beta 1.0 of his kewl PS2 assembler. You can download it from the files section.
If you experince any bugs using it, please mail me - so I can pass 'em to Wire, for future versions.

2001-03-17 3 Stars - first ps2 demo..

I made a little lame demo, whilst reversing the PS2, which I have released today. You can download the pre-patched image for AR2/GS2 under the files section. Furthermore I also release the source for it, you can find the source under the sources section ;)




2001-01-20 PS2 cd patcher

Today I have uploaded a PS2 CD patcher to the files section. It patches your homemade CD for use with AR2/GS2 (please read the about dialog for proper usage).
